red-green-design is now known as Helz-Design

Name

Does the name of the company surprise you?
When I talked about the company and its new name to some friends, they wanted to know more about it.

The name is owed to my American and Australian friends. As I told you on the “Welcome”-page, I am used to be called Helen, and the mentioned friends just love to shorten it to Helz. This is something, which is uncommon to German speaking people.

Renaming

The origin of Helz-Design is red-green-design.
When I founded my company in 2006 and called it red-green-design, I didn’t know that there is a company producing requisites for yachtsmen, that is called redgreen. The guys are based in Denmark, producing fantastic sweaters and selling their goods in Germany as well.

No there was no legal trouble between the two of us. Just many people called me in desperate search of the next redgreen-store.
